The cross = love. 🙌 Such a wonderful, true, and powerful reminder of Our Father's love for us, His children.

'For God so loved the world that he sent his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life' ~ John 3:16 (NIV)

'Let your faith ignite your dreams' a quote from Bonnie Rickner Jensen written in calligraphy. Love the quote 🙏🙌. Such great advice. I found this quote in a desk top Christian 'quote a day' calendar. Bought it for my mother for Christmas and wish I'd picked one up for myself too! As Christians it's a really good idea to have something like that or an app on your phone which gives you a verse a day / quote a day etc. Daily reminders of how great God is.

''For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only son...' John 3:16 // I created this painting to be a Christian artwork with the cross in the heart representing the accepting of Christ into your life (Ephesians 3:17), the sacrifice of God's only son for mankind, and the idea that the cross represents love. I picked a palette of black, grey and white as I have been enjoying using them in winter landscapes and wanted to use them in a completely contrasting setting. The fact the background is dark while the heart is white is symbolic of Christ being the light of the world. No love is greater than God's so the other hearts are smaller and representative of other 'loves' in people's lives. // HCR @hcrart for CCCuk.

As Christians we must remember that God is more important than anyone or anything in our lives. He should be first and foremost in each of our lives. Hard as this may seem at times, it has to be remembered that if we do this then all other parts of our lives should fall into place.

• Act: If God is not at the top of your life right now then you should have a think about how you can rearrange your priorities and your focus. •

~ 'God is greater than our problems'

Fineliner

This is an important message to remember each Monday morning. Going to church on Sunday can fill us with optimism and hope through the worship, fellowship, and teaching, but then on Monday morning we can become overly concerned and worried about problems that we know we must overcome during the week. It is therefore very important that the above message, 'God is greater than our problems', is remembered. Remember also, Philippians 4:13, 'I can do all things through Christ who giveth me strength'. This verse brings much reassurance to Christians 365 days of the year. For me, it was certainly prolific in my head during difficult exam periods at High School and University!
